2021 State Tax Deadline Extension Dates for Every State

As one of many coronavirus (COVID-19) relief measures, the IRS announced a 2021 tax deadline extension (for 2020 income tax returns and payments), without the need to file a tax extension, to May 17. Estimated tax payment deadlines were left unchanged from the typical tax deadline of April 15 (note: for residents of Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas the IRS deadline had already been extended to June 15 for income tax return filing, payments, and IRA contributions, due to winter storms).
